Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Leh Kushok Bakula Airport

Upon arrival you will be welcome & meet by our representative and transfer to Hotel for check in followed by welcome tea or coffee. Complete half day for rest acclimatize and Lunch will be serve in Hotel. Afternoon at 3:30 PM visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Dinner and overnight Leh.

Day 2

Full day Monasteries sightseeing around Leh town (90 km 7 or 8 hours)

Today after leisure breakfast at 9:00 am leave to sightseeing of biggest monasteries of Ladakh and 17th century palace king shrine room, shrine have giant chopper statue of Lord Buddha, Racho School where Bollywood actor Amir Khan made the 3 idiots movie and Sindhu Ghat. All the attractions located on the sides of the road toward south eastern direction of Leh to Manali national highway road. Hemis monastery is the last spot 45 km from Leh. First you will visit Rancho school, 17th century Shey palace King Shrine room and then leave to straight to Hemis monastery. Hemis monastery biggest Druk sect monastery of Ladakh. After visit Hemis monastery to back stop at Thiksay village for Lunch in Restaurant. After Lunch visit 14th century Thiksay monastery, the biggest Gelugpa sect monastery of Ladakh and then return back to Leh. Your sightseeing will be finish at 5:00 or 6:00 pm. Evening stroll around the Leh mall road. Dinner an overnight at Leh in Hotel.

Day 3

Half day sightseeing toward Sham valley (80 km 4 or 5 hours)

Today after leisure breakfast at 9:00 am leave to sightseeing panoramic view of Magnetic hill and Sangam the Confluence of Indus and Zanskar river located in the Sham valley on Leh – Srinagar national highway road 45 km from Leh. While going Sangam on the way visit Hall of Fame museum, Spiti monastery, Gurdwara Pather Sahib. At Sangam there few vendor river rafting agency, so if you like Do River rafting in Indus and Zanskar River. After visiting all these attractions return back to Leh and have your lunch in restaurant. Rest of the day is free to explore Leh market. Dinner and overnight at Leh.

Day 4

Leh to Nubra valley via Kardungla pass (125 km 4 – 5 hrs)

Today after breakfast at 8:00 AM leave to Hunder village of Nubra valley by crossing Kardungla pass (5,359 Meter above sea leave). Kardungla pass is one of the highest motorable pass in the world. At the summit of Kardungla pass majestic view of snow peaks glacier of Zanskar range. Spend only short time at top of Kardungla pass for photography because chance of adverse effect of high altitude on health. From the Kardungla pass after 1 hour drive there is small village name Kardung village, Kardung village is the first village on the way Nubra valley located on the height of 3975 meter above sea level. Village have small market and few small restaurants. Halt there for relax and lunch.

After lunch leave to Hunder village, Hunder village located on the height of 3000 Meter on the bank of Nubra River. Hunder village is the main attraction of Nubra valley for it double hump camel and Sand dune. Before heading toward Hunder village short halt at Deskit village located just 5 km before the Hunder village. Diskit village is now main town of Nubra valley with administration offices and markets. There visit 14th century Deskit monastery – the biggest monastery in the Nubra valley and 107 Feet Maitreya Buddha Statue which was built in 2010 located, both monastery and statue of Maitreya Buddha statue on the cliff of lofty mountain on the side of main road. At the Maitreya Buddha statue and monastery panoramic view of Nubra valley and Sand dune of Hunder village. Then after leave to Sand dune of Hunder village. When you reach sand dune it will be around 3:30 to 4:30 pm and this time is perfect to enjoy the double hump camel ride because at midday is quite hot at sand dune. Camp is located nearby sand dune just 2 or 3 minute drive. Dinner and overnight at Hunder village.

Day 5

Nubra valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Valley (160 km 6 – 7 hrs)

Today after breakfast at 8:00 am leave to Pangong Lake via Shayok valley on the way if like visit Tangtse monastery located just on the side of road and you will be reaching Pangong Lake afternoon check into camp for lunch. After lunch enjoy the majestic view of lake and do some photography. At evening enjoy the sun setting view of lake and do some photography. Dinner and overnight at Pangong Lake.

Day 6

Departure

Today after early morning breakfast transfer to Leh Airport. Tour and service ends with Wonder memories..!
