Day 2
Srinagar to Sonmarg (85 Kms / 2 Hrs)
Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 km respectively also visit Shankeracharya Temple. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory. After Lunch start for Sonmarg transfer, evening will be free for leisure at Sonmarg. Dinner & overnight stay at Sonmarg.
Day 3
Sonamarg to Kargil (120 Kms 5 – 6 Hrs)
Today after breakfast leave to Kargil valley of Ladakh via Zojila pass on the way visit Drass valley the second coldest region of world, Kargil war memorial Museum and Tagar hill. You will be reached Kargil around 3:00 or 4:00 PM. Check into Hotel for rest. Dinner and overnight stay at Kargil in hotel.
Day 4
Kargil to Leh 220 Kms (7 – 8 Hrs)
Today after breakfast leave to Leh on the way visit 7th century Rock sculpture statue at Mulbek village, Lamayuru moon landscape, Confluence of Indus & Zanskar river, Magnetic hill and Gurdwara Pather Sahib. You will be reached Leh around 6:00 or 7:00 PM. Dinner and overnight stay at Leh in Hotel.
Day 5
Full day sightseeing around Leh town (5 – 6 Hrs)
Today after leisure breakfast at 10:00 AM leave to full sightseeing around Leh town; Shanti Stupa, 17th century Leh palace, Rancho school, Thiksay monastery, Sindhu Ghat Darshan. Lunch at Thiksay in Chamba Restaurant or Cloud Café Restaurant. Dinner & overnight stay at Leh in Hotel.
Day 6
Leh to Hunder village (120 Kms 4 – 5 Hrs Nubra valley)
After breakfast at 8:00 PM leave to Hunder village of Nubra valley via Kardungla pass one of the highest motorable road in the world at 18,390 feet, around 39kms from Leh. Stop at Kardung village first village of the way to Nubra valley for Lunch. Post lunch drive to Hunder village on the way visit 14th century Deskit monastery, 100 Feet Maitreya Buddha Statue and Double hump camel ride at Hunder sand dune. Your day excursion will end at around 5:00 or 6:00 PM after double hump camel ride at sand dune. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hunder village in camp.
Day 7
Hunder village – Pangong Lake via Shayok valley (170 Kms 6 – 7 Hrs)
Today after breakfast at 8:00 leave to Pangong Lake via Shayok valley on the way visit Tangtse monastery and you will be reached at Pangong Lake in the afternoon around 1:00 or 2:00 pm and check into camp. Camp is located on the bank of Pangong Lake. Evening walk around the Lake to enjoy sun set view. Dinner & Overnight stay at Pangong Lake in camp.
Day 8
Pangong Lake – Leh via Changla pass (140 Kms 4 – 5 Hrs)
Today before breakfast around 5:30 a brief morning walk to enjoy the sun rise view of Lake and back to camp for breakfast and after breakfast at 9:00 leave to Leh via Changla pass. You will be reached at Leh around 3:00 or 4:00 pm check into hotel for rest. Evening explore the colourful Leh market. Dinner & overnight stay at Leh in Hotel.
Day 9
Departure
Today after breakfast transfer Leh Kushok Bakula Airport on time. Tour and service end with Wonder Memories of Kashmir & Ladakh...!!!
