Hypnotic Himalayas

This morning, we will drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 feet) to chase the down and see the stunning view of the sun rising and throwing it pinkish glow on the landscapes. After spending some time at the tiger hill, you will embark on a drive to the hotel via Ghum Monastery, which famed for its 15-feet high statue of "Maitreya Buddha" and Batasia Loop, famous for its war memorial. Enjoy scrumptious breakfast at the hotel and then go for the city sightseeing tour. As per the itinerary, today you will be visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evenings will be free for leisure. Stay and enjoy dinner at Darjeeling.

This morning after breakfast, drive to Gangtok (5,500 feet), which is 100 km from Darjeeling. View of lush green mountains and bubbling brooks will greet you at every turn. We may visit some of the local attractions in case of time permits. In the evening visiting the MG Marg, the busy and main market place of Gangtok will be an added experience. Here some taste of Sikkimese delicacies will be again a great experience. On arrival at Gangtok, , acclimatize to the weather, followed by an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will visit Tsomgo Lake (12,000 feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. According to the legends, Buddhist used to monks study the colour of lake's water to predict the future. Thereupon, you visit the Baba Mandir, which is approximately 55 km from Gangtok. Later continue to drive to Gangtok hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After having breakfast we will start for Gangtok local tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls. At the end of the trip back to hotel by evening & stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast check out on time and leave for Bagdogra Air Port/NJP Railway Station drop onward return journey. Tour ends with sweet and immortal memories.
