Itinerary

Day 1

Jammu to Katra - Arrival & Transfer

After your arrival at Jammu airport/railway station you will be warmly received by our driver/representative and straightaway leave for Katra (Home of Maa Vaishno Devi) rest of the day will be free for leisure. Dinner & overnight there in Katra hotel.

Day 2

Katra - Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan

After very early breakfast leave for Mata Vaishno Devi Temple Darshan (By Foot), Temple is located uphill and one has to trek about 14 Kms to reach to the temple, one can hire ponies’ or auto battery vehicles which are being kept available by shrine board for devotee’s convenience and comfort. Late evening is back in the hotel, relax have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Jammu/Katra to Pahalgam - Transfer

Today after an early breakfast leave for Pahalgam. Reach at Pahalgam and check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 4

Pahalgam – Full day Sightseeing

After breakfast leave for Baisaran - an eye-catching meadow. Often dubbed as ‘Mini Switzerland’ because of its long dark meadows resembling the ones in Switzerland, Baisaran is an eye-catching meadow, located just 5 km away from Pahalgam. The dense pine forest that gives the green carpet look to the meadow provides a contrasting hue to snow-capped peaks of the surrounding mountains. A major tourist place to visit in Pahalgam, a voyage to the meadow is truly a treat for the senses. Additionally, Baisaran is also an ideal campsite for trekkers who want to move further up to Tulian Lake. Accessible through ponies from Pahalgam, this off-beat track of Jammu and Kashmir tourism offers panoramic sights of the town and Lidder Valley. After the visit later you will be transferred to Pahalgam for dinner & night stay.

Day 5

Pahalgam to Gulmarg - Transfer & Overnight Stay

After breakfast you will leave for Gulmarg (03 hours drive) vehicles can go up to Tangmarg Gulmarg has some of the best slopes in the country for beginners and intermediate skiers are available at Gulmarg. Skiing equipment is available on hire from the Ski-Shop (Provided if there is snow at that time in plain areas ). In winter Gulmarg’s natural slopes and inclines turn into the country’s premier skiing resort. Not all tourists who visit in winter come for skiing – some simply are there to watch the skiing or to enjoy a holiday in the snow. You can enjoy the famous gondola ride (world’s highest car ride) it has has 02 phases the 2 nd phase (Kongdori – Affarwat ) takes you to 14000ft above the sea level. Dinner & overnight stay back in Gulmarg hotel.

Day 6

Gulmarg to Srinagar - Transfer & Half Day Local sightseeing

After breakfast you will be driven to Srinagar city which is 1.5 hour drive from Gulmarg , enroute one can stop at Famous Tangmarg Market for shopping all the Kashmiri home grown products like shawls, carpets, paper machine etc. After reaching Srinagar you will just have rest at houseboat with Shikara ride in the evening. Dinner & Night stay in houseboat.

Day 7

Srinagar Local Sightseeing

Srinagar is the Summer Capital of J&K & is in the Centre of all the famous Hill station of Kashmir Like Gulmarg (North Side) Pahalgam (South Side) Srinagar is famous for 400-500 Year Old Mughal Gardens, Dal Lake, Nageen Lake, Houseboats, Tulip Gaden (Asia’s Largest Tulip Garden with more than 10 lac varieties / types of Tulips, but its open for April Month only every year ), Visit famous Mughal Gardens Like NishatBagh, Chashma Shahi, Shalimar Bagh, Famous Hazratbal Shrine located on the banks of Dal Lake, Shankaracharya temple on hillock, etc. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 25 and 40 Kms respectively and it usually takes 4 hours to cover all these points with ease as they are all on the banks/in the catchment area of Dal Lake. Later in the late afternoon you will be back at the hotel, Dinner overnight in the hotel.

Day 8

Srinagar to Sonamarg - Day Trip

After breakfast Leave for Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold) about 86 Kms from Srinagar, it is one of the most visited, scenic, serene place in Kashmir, enjoy full day fun there, you can ride a pony to see the Thajiwas Glacier covered with ice, Zero Point (Snow Point ) located around Zojila pass (Need to hire a local union shared taxi to cover these both points), late evening drive back to Srinagar. Dinner & overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

Day 9

Srinagar Airport Drop

After breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer to Srinagar airport to catch your return flight. Tour ends with Blissful memories of Kashmir.
